I am so excited to be teaching TAG at Dolvin again this year! The 2023-2024 school year is my 26th year in education. I started my career teaching second grade before moving into Gifted education, which I love! I have taught Gifted Resource in Fulton County for about 15 years. I have also served as the Fulton Gifted Department's Testing and Eligibility Specialist, Ocee Elementary's Problem-Solving Coach, and Ocee's STEAM Lab Instructor.
I strive to create a joyful learning environment and to stretch students to think critically and creatively. We use a growth mindset in my classroom to help students become independent problem-solvers.
In my free time, I love to explore new places, walk my Yorkshire Terrier, and craft.
