I am so excited to be teaching TAG at Dolvin again this year! The 2024-2025 school year will be my 30th year teaching. I started my career as a Pre-K teacher in New York, then moved to Georgia and taught first grade in Dekalb County for four years. During that time, I found I had a passion for enriching the curriculum for those that needed it. This inspired me to earn my gifted endorsement and I began teaching the gifted program in 2000. I transferred to Fulton County in 2012. This will be my 25th year teaching gifted children and I love it!
This summer my husband, Chris, and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary. We have two children. Our daughter, Kristin, is a freshman at Georgia Tech, and our son, Ryan, is a sophomore at Chattahoochee High School. It is hard to believe we just sent one off to college. Time really does fly! Our weekends are usually spent cheering at soccer games. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, and traveling.
I look forward to an exciting year in TAG with your child! Please reach out with any questions at any time.
